This is What Happens on Delhi Roads!!!

A bunch of young people doing real-life stunts on Delhi roads is not an uncommon thing, but one such scaring thing that was captured by the headlinesindia.com recently, can surely leave people bewildered as to where are the traffic police and other concerned authorities. It was not one life taking stunt rather the clips right next to this content would show that these were some very scary stunts one after another. And, those who did these stunts are not professional bikers but commoners like you and us. Some do say that there is nothing to be averse about this act as this is nothing but showcasing a hidden talent. But, what raises everyone's eyebrows towards it is the way it has been done, right in the heart of the country, capital-Delhi.



This is how it starts: It is just 11:00 clock in the night, which according to Delhi life is not too late, a weekend, when most of the people are returning home after celebrating the weekend. There is a group of around 7-8 bikers, who start biking stunts right in the middle of a busy main road in the national capital, creating traffic hurdles and scaring the passers by. One can also see people actually stopping their vehicles to avoid this nuisance. And, what further comes to our surprise is that there is no traffic police or local police to stop this act. These bunch of kids are actually aware that if caught they are liable for some serious punishment, but the kind of enjoyment which they get out of this encourages them even more to go for it.



After investigating the matter we discovered that this is a regular feature with the cities like Mumbai, but may be all these thing would happen late in the night when there is not as much of crowd on the roads. However, what we saw in Delhi, it was not to late, it was on one of the busiest roads of Delhi, and it continued for over half an hour.



With this kind of stunts on the main road not only is this dangerous for those who are doing it, as they do not adopt any security, measures, it is also very unsafe for those who by chance happen to pass through that area. To our further investigation we found out that there are proper 'Bikers Club' which exist, though some of them are authorized and practice this officially but then there are many of them which are not the authorized ones and operate independently.

Every now and then one can see eminent people on television discussing the changing habits of youth especially after an accident caused by ignorant driving; from globalization to sudden prosperity, from action films to show-bravado-attitude, from proper school education to value system are cited as the reason for them to go wild on roads during nights. Even the President of India talks, every other day, about inculcating the habits of an enlightened heart among the youth of the country. But, his appeal, it seems, is falling on deaf ears and no one is listening.
