In the Bible But not in the Quran (57): King David in Paran (mecca)The priests wanted to dishonor King David because he dwelled in Arabia, in the tents of Kedar, the son of Ishmael wherein there is the house of the Lord's glory (in Mecca) which is Kadesh; also they hated him because he made Prophecies about the Quran and Muhammad.
In this article, we will see the biblical location of Paran and how confusing it is. However, Paran is one of the old names of Mecca. On the other hand, although the Bible dishonors King David, the Noble Quran honors him very much; anyone who says that King David was sinful will dwell in the Eternal Fire. ========= Where is Paran? Before answering this question, it is very interesting to find out that some of the versions of the Bible deleted Paran and replaced it with another place. 1 Samuel 25:1 Now Samuel died, and all Israel assembled and mourned for him; and they buried him at his home in Ramah. Samuel died. The whole country came to his funeral. Everyone grieved over his death, and he was buried in his hometown of Ramah. David then went down to the Wilderness of Paran The last phrase that David then went down to the Wilderness of Paran is found in these versions of the Bible: New American Standard Bible King James Version English Standard Version Darby Translation Contemporary English Version Amplified Bible Holman Christian Standard Bible However, Paran is deleted and replaced by Maon in these versions of the Bible: New International Version Then David moved down into the Desert of Maon. The Message Meanwhile, David moved again, this time to the wilderness of Maon. New International Version - UK Then David moved down into the Desert of Maon. In the Hebrew and the Arabic versions of the Bible, it is Paran not Maon. The thing is, Paran may be deleted by time and we could not find it anymore in the new reprinted versions of the Bible. I will leave the smart reader to answer this question: Have they intentionally deleted Paran and replaced it by Maon? ========= Now, where is Paran? The Biblical maps locate Paran at the south of Judah What is Suph? Suph is Hebrew name of the Red Sea. Now look at this verse and do your best to locate Paran! The verse says that the Jordan River is opposite (in front of) the Red Sea (Suph) between Paran and Tophel Tophel – if it is a place- is very hard to locate where it is; also it is mentioned once in the Bible, in this verse only! The thing that is impossible from the Geographical point of view is that the Jordan River is NOT and can NOT and will NOT be opposite or in front of the Red Sea (Suph) In the Footnotes of some Biblical versions, you may find this statement: Suph, Paran, Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab: The exact location of these towns is not known. The writers of such a statement depend on the ignorance of the reader and his carelessness to know the exact locations of the important places in the Bible. No wonder then that some versions of the Bible say that Suph which is the Hebrew name of the Red Sea is a town! All of this effort is an attempt to hide Paran and make its location very confusing. However, Paran one of the old Arabic names of Mecca regardless of the great effort done to delete and replace its name or to make its location very confusing! Now look at this verse and do your best to locate Paran! Deuteronomy 1:1 New International Version These are the words Moses spoke to all Israel in the desert east of the Jordan—that is, in the Arabah—opposite Suph, between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth and Dizahab. The Message These are the sermons Moses preached to all Israel when they were east of the Jordan River in the Arabah Wilderness, opposite Suph, in the vicinity of Paran, Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab. New American Standard Bible These are the words which Moses spoke to all Israel across the Jordan in the wilderness, in the Arabah opposite Suph, between Paran and Tophel and Laban and Hazeroth and Dizahab. King James Version These be the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red sea, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab. Amplified Bible THESE ARE the words which Moses spoke to all Israel [still] on the [east] side of the Jordan [River] in the wilderness, in the Arabah [the deep valley running north and south from the eastern arm of the Red Sea to beyond the Dead Sea], over near Suph, between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab. Darby Translation These are the words which Moses spoke to all Israel on this side the Jordan, in the wilderness, in the plain, opposite to Suph, between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab. Contemporary English Version This book contains the speeches that Moses made while Israel was in the land of Moab, camped near the town of Suph in the desert east of the Jordan River. The town of Paran was in one direction from their camp, and the towns of Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab Amplified Bible 1THESE ARE the words which Moses spoke to all Israel [still] on the [east] side of the Jordan [River] in the wilderness, in the Arabah [the deep valley running north and south from the eastern arm of the Red Sea to beyond the Dead Sea], over near Suph, between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab. New International Version - UK These are the words Moses spoke to all Israel in the desert east of the Jordan— that is, in the Arabah— opposite Suph, between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth and Dizahab.
